Meet Michelle Woodland: Team Leader

As the Fall 2025 internship reaches its midpoint, our team of interns from Ensign College + BYU Pathway has been hard at work—not only preparing author spotlights for the upcoming Patella Publishing Pop-up Bookstore but also laying the groundwork for long-term success.

In addition to public-facing content, this group has been developing internal infrastructure to support future PPS projects. From newsletter platform research to content templates and a new resource library, their behind-the-scenes work has been thoughtful, strategic, and deeply appreciated. Though these contributions won’t be seen externally, their impact will be felt for years to come.

Leading the way in this internal work is Michelle Woodland, our Team Lead and Reports Manager. Michelle brings thoughtful leadership and clear communication to the table, helping guide our weekly meetings and support team momentum.

We’re lucky to have Michelle’s perspective and leadership guiding us forward!

Meet the interns making this happen!

Michelle Woodland is excited to join this semester’s group of interns working for Patella Publishing Services.  She is working as the team leader and will help with reports management.  Michelle has a Drafting diploma from Penn Foster and is currently studying Communications at Ensign College.  She completed her Social Media Management certificate earlier in the year and is excited to use her skills to help PPS with some projects this semester.

Michelle has worked an assortment of odd jobs in her years as a stay-at-home mom to three children.  She especially loved her time with a local high school, employed as the music director in their drama department. She also loves serving in her church and in her local homeschooling community.

As a devoted reader of a variety of books, Michelle is excited to help Patella Publishing Services highlight their talented authors during this internship opportunity.

Starting October 21, our interns are taking over the PPS social media platforms!

Over the next several weeks, we invite you to join in the fun, cheer on these emerging professionals, and explore some of their work on our social media platforms.
