Who We Are
Founded by Author Tara C. Allred, Patella Publishing Services represents a dedication to transforming the creative journey. Tara's experience signing with a publisher in 2003 shed light on the intricacies of the publishing industry, leading to an unexpected journey of learning.

Driven by a commitment to offer stories of substance, Patella Publishing seeks to empower writers, authors, and readers with stories that provoke change. For Tara, success isn't about accolades or contracts but in the profound moments when books impact lives—what she calls "edutainment," where education and entertainment converge. With a background as an independent education consultant for leading organizations like IBM, Cornell Law School, the International Society for Technology in Education, and more, Tara has merged her creative passion and educational goals to truly find joy in making a difference.

Originally established to support Tara's book goals, Patella Publishing Services grew by word of mouth with numerous writers seeking guidance. Over the past decade, the company has assisted countless writers, authors, and readers. At the end of 2023, our company received a grant to take this business to the next level, to expand and grow, and to further bolster the impact of well-crafted books.
Today, Patella Publishing Services collaborates with a vast network of professionals to provide tailored support for every individual, capturing a writer's distinct voice, redefining success for underrepresented authors, and ultimately, connecting readers with stories of substances.
