Meet the Author:
Haley has a love of fairy tales. As a child, she spent many hours poring over her mother’s vintage fairy tale books. As an adult with a degree in criminal justice, she still loves a good fairy tale, but now she’s captivated by the tension that challenges a person’s morals and ethics. Most criminals have a tragic backstory, and every victim deserves justice. She’s woven these experiences into her storytelling. When Haley is not pouring her soul into blank pages, she’s spending time with her wonderful husband, two young kids, and two chubby cats.
Haley shared with PPS staff that her family always celebrates “firsts”: the first time a baby walks, first words, first day of school, etc. After years of work, this book holds a special place in her heart as her “first book”—she hopes it will be the first of many. There was so much plot and romantic tension! 🔥 One of my favorite things about this book was how complicated every relationship was.
